FNH Week 4 Game of the Week Preview: Arroyo Grande

Despite Arroyo Grande moving to the CIF Central Section in 2018, AG and Lompoc will continue their rivalry on Friday night as the Eagles get set to clash with the Braves.

After a somewhat surprising loss in Week 1 against San Luis Obispo, the Eagles have bounced back with two straight victories, most recently a dominant road win against Independence last Friday.

Arroyo Grande soared past Lompoc last year with a 24-10 win at Huyck Stadium, but Eagles head coach Mike Hartman and his crew know it's a new season and the Braves are always a threat on Friday nights.

"Coach Jones does a great job down there and they have some excellent players, and I think probably the same thing for them," Hartman said. "They know who we are. When you play someone every year and it's always sort of a big game in the area, and it's two of the better schools, it's always fun. "

Kickoff is set for 7 P.M. at Pioneer Valley High School.
