Despite a game-tying RBI single from Taison Corio in the bottom of the 5th, San Luis Obispo fell in extra innings to Santa Barbara, 2-1, as the Foresters completed the three-game sweep.
Morro Bay grad and current Cuesta Cougar Tyler Chivens pitched well out of the pen, getting back-to-back strikeouts in the 5th. After loading the bases, Chivens was able to get out of trouble as his Cuesta teammate Ruben Mercado handled a grounder to short.
