It was made official Wednesday afternoon that Brian Wong has resigned as head baseball coach at San Luis Obispo High School.
Wong took over the Tigers’ baseball program in 2013, and in his seven seasons, he guided San Luis Obispo to a 107-66 record, including a 23-5 mark this past spring. The Tigers were eliminated in the CIF Central Section Division 1 semifinals by Clovis, 7-5.
Wong tells KSBY that he will use his time away from coaching to spend more time with family.
