The high school baseball season has come to an end but bring on the Blues.
The San Luis Obispo summer baseball squad is preparing for the busy 10-week schedule ahead, as the team practiced at Cuesta College on Thursday afternoon.
San Luis Obispo finished the 2018 season 7 games over .500, barely missing a shot at the playoffs.
“We love playing in front of the fans of San Luis Obispo and San Luis Obispo County,” Blues Head Coach Dan Marple said. “We’re here to win, play hard, hustle, and put on a good show for the fans.”
The Blues begin their 2019 campaign at Sinsheimer Park on Friday night against Santa Maria, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
