Eight members of the Pioneer Valley High School football team will take part in the 2019 FCA All-Star Football Classic.
The Panthers were presented by hospital sponsor, Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.
The eight players representing Pioneer Valley High School for Team Santa Barbara County are Michael Bourbon, Daniel Torres, Jose Hernandez, Steven Fuerte, Edgar Zacarias, Edwin Romero, Adrian Gracia, and Jayson Garcia.
The Panthers’ players and Marian Regional Medical Center are happy to once again be a part of the big game.
“We’re really proud to be a sponsor of this event,” Marian Regional Medical Center president and CEO Sue Andersen said. “We’ve been a sponsor since the inaugural football game in 2011. The FCA aligns very well with our mission and values here at Dignity Health.”
“It means a lot, actually, because at the beginning of this season I was motivated throughout the whole season to get into the all-star game, first make all-league and then get into the all-star game possibly for my last year as a senior,” Pioneer Valley senior Jayson Garcia added.
Righetti High School will host the 2019 FCA All-Star Football Classic on Saturday, June 1.
