Nine members of the St. Joseph High School football team will take part in the 2019 FCA All-Star Football Classic.
The Knights were presented by dealership sponsor, Honda of Santa Maria.
The nine players representing St. Joseph High School are Chase Artopoeus, Alex Ontiveros, Trevor Cole, Isaac, Billy Collins, Markus Frazier, Zak Wilson, Justin Maldonado, and Nathan Halsell.
The Knights and Honda of Santa Maria are excited to be a part of the big game.
“Yeah, it’s huge. I’m super excited to be able to play with all the other teams from around the area,” St. Joseph senior Chase Artopoeus said. “We’ve been battling for the last couple of years, especially some of the friends from the other teams. It’s amazing, and I’m excited to get back out there with my brothers and some new ones I can meet in the process.”
“It’s just a great way for us to give back to the community, stay involved with the local youth, and it’s just a fun night for all of these kids to play football and go out on top,” Honda of Santa Maria general manager Fabian Zaragoza added.
Righetti High School will host the 2019 FCA All-Star Football Classic on Saturday, June 1.
