The Cal Poly softball program completes the 2019 season and its 14-game home schedule when hosting UC Santa Barbara for a three-game, May 10-11 series.
The series at Bob Janssen Field gets underway with a 3 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, May 10 before concluding with a 1 p.m. Senior Day matchup on Sunday, May 11. Looking to snap a five-game slide and seeking its first Big West Conference series win of the season, seventh-place Cal Poly (10-38, 4-14) enters the series leading last-place UC Santa Barbara (8-41, 2-16) by two games in the conference standings.
UC Santa Barbara, meanwhile, has dropped its last eight games, having been swept in consecutive weekends by CSUN (April 27-28) and UC Riverside (May 4-5).
