The Jacksonville Jaguars selected tight end Josh Oliver with the 69th overall pick in the 3rd round of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, TN.

Oliver, a Paso Robles High School graduate, hauled in 56 receptions (3rd in FBS among tight ends) for 709 yards and four touchdowns during his final campaign at San Jose State, earning him First-Team All-Mountain West Conference honors.

Oliver started 36 of 49 games during his four-year career at SJSU and became one of just four tight ends in school history to surpass 1,000 career receiving yards.

While in high school, Oliver helped lead Paso Robles to a CIF Championship during his senior season and was named San Luis Obispo County’s, CIF Central Section’s Northern Division’s, and PAC 5 League’s Defensive Player of the Year.
