Oxnard put up a four-spot in the first inning on Saturday afternoon, but it was the Bulldogs’ four-run eighth that proved to be the difference as Hancock defeated Oxnard, 9-5, the second win over the Condors in three days.

The Bulldogs (12-10, 4-2) got four hits from their shortstop Jeff Ray, including two doubles and a triple. Center fielder Mike Mclean chipped in with two hits and three RBI.

Western State Conference play continues on Tuesday, as Hancock welcomes Moorpark to John Osborne Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 P.M.
