Morro Bay junior Joey Ruddell captured the boys high jump gold with a leap of 6’5″ at the 2019 California Winter Track & Field Championships in Arcadia.
Ruddell never skipped a beat and was the only competitor to clear all four of his heights.
The CIF State qualifier from a year ago will try to top his personal record of 6’6″ this spring with the Pirates’ track and field team.
