The Allan Hancock men’s basketball team defeated Santa Barbara City College, 88-53, in a Western State-North Conference matchup on Wednesday night at Joe White Gymnasium.
Mike Mensah scored a team-high 16 points for the Bulldogs off the bench, while the Vaqueros’ Joseph Holden led all scorers with 22.
With the win, Hancock improves to 18-4 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Santa Barbara falls to 3-18 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Saturday night when they travel to Cuesta College, tip-off is set for 5:00 P.M.
The two teams met up in women’s basketball as well with Santa Babara beating Allan Hancock, 55-47.
