The Cuesta College men’s basketball team defeated Santa Barbara College, 86-61, on Saturday night at Gil Stork Gymnasium.
The Cougars poured it on early and often by getting out to an 11-0 lead to start the game.
Cuesta stretched its first-half lead to 28-10 thanks to a pair of three-pointers by sophomore guard Jorge Bueno.
With the win, Cuesta improves to 15-6 overall and 2-1 in Western State-North Conference play.
The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday night at first place Ventura College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 P.M.
