No. 1 San Luis Obispo girls volleyball team swept No. 16 Villanova Prep, 3-0, in the first round of the Division 4 CIF-State tournament.
After battling to a 25-18 win in the first set, the Tigers rolled to a 25-5 victory in the second set and clinched the match with a 25-13 win in the third and final set.
San Luis Obispo will stay home for its second round match on Thursday night at 6 p.m. when hosting No. 8 Mira Monte.
