KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 9 Player of the Week goes to San Luis Obispo’s Emilio Corona, while a pair of passes from Templeton and Paso Robles earned Plays of the Week.
The first of the two Plays of the Week includes a pass from Templeton quarterback Jack Trimble to Marino D’Alfonso in the back corner of the end zone. D’Alfonso makes a spectacular one-handed grab for the touchdown.
The second Play of the Week comes from a St. Joseph’s quarterback Chase Artopoeus pass to Darien Langley. The sophomore receiver made the catch mid-air while a defender was wrapped around him. The two led the Knights to a 46-14 victory over Paso Robles.
Emilio Corona is named Player of the Week for leading the Tigers to a fourth-quarter 21 point comeback victory over Templeton. The junior quarterback was 24 of 36 for 294 yards and scored four touchdowns. He also added eight carries for 80 yards for a total of 374 yards.
