KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 8 Player of the Week goes to Templeton’s Jack Trimble, while Orcutt Academy’s school-record tying touchdown by Max Daniels earned Play of the Week.
Spartans Max Daniels tied a school-record rushing touchdown after a 78-yard quarterback sneak against Fresno Christian on Friday. The senior was 8 of 15 for 169 passing yards and threw for three touchdowns. He also had 19 carries for 186 yards and rushed one touchdown.
Eagles quarterback Jack Trimble is the FNH Week 8 Player of the Week for his winning performance against Santa Maria. The senior was 19 of 26 for 369 yards and scored six touchdowns. His total yards was 398. Trimble led Templeton to a 56-40 victory and improved the team’s Ocean League record to 2-1.
