KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 7 Player of the Week goes to Arroyo Grande’s James Gilmet, while several touchdown catches earned Play of the Week.
Eagles senior running back James Gilmet recorded 215 all-purpose yards including 171 rushing yards on 22 carries and scored two touchdowns. He also caught a 35-yard pass and added a pair of tackles and sacks. Arroyo Grande defeated Paso Robles, 35-21.
Three different quarterback throws to receivers earned the FNH Week 7 Play of the Week, one from Nipomo quarterback Brayden Groshart to Cole Bajema, Righetti quarterback Logan Mortensen’s throw to junior receiver Jake Steels, and Paso Robles quarterback Hunter Barnhart connecting with Marshall Wiesner.
