KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 3 ‘Game of the Week’ features Arroyo Grande taking on Lompoc.
The Braves enter the match up with the same overall record as Arroyo Grande at 2-1. Lompoc knocked off Bishop Diego last week 36-10 due to its offensive explosion in the second half, scoring 27 of its 36 points.
The reigning player of the week, Leondre Coleman combined for more than 200 yards of offense and added two scores.
The Braves will also play its first home game of the season after playing the first three on the road.
"We’re excited about being at home, especially going against Arroyo Grande," said Andrew Jones, Lompoc head coach. "They’re a storied program and really well-coached. We’re really thankful that Coach Hartman wanted to continue the tradition. We’re glad, we’re excited, and we’re looking forward to tomorrow’s matchup."
"It feels good not traveling on the bus for the first week, and playing A-G, they’re a powerhouse. It’s been a good game for years and playing them at home in front of everybody is going to be special," said Leondre Coleman, Lompoc junior running back.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Lompoc High School.
