Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is opening a restaurant on Betteravia Road in Santa Maria.
The chain, which was founded in 2002 in Wichita, Kansas, is known for its 1950s atmosphere.
The menu features thin steakburgers and freshly churned custard.
There's no word yet on when the fast casual restaurant is scheduled to open.
