Starting on March 24th depending on weather and air quality conditions prescribed burns will take place in Twin Ridge in the eastern Goleta Valley foothills.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department along with other local officials have planned and coordinated the prescribed burns to help prevent the spread of wildfires.
About 30 piles of cut vegetation will be burned through April 4th.
