San Luis Obispo man arrested for prowling, peeping

San Luis Obispo police arrested a man for prowling, peeping and resisting arrest Saturday at about 12:30 a.m.

Police say the department got a call from a resident in the 100 block of Hathway.

According to SLOPD, the female caller said she saw a man looking into her roommate's bedroom window.

Police say the caller was able to give them the suspect's location. When police arrived and tried to contact 55-year-old Sean Anderson, authorities say he ran off.

After a short pursuit on foot, police officers say they were able to take Anderson into custody without any injuries.

The San Luis Obispo Police Department wants to remind residents and students to stay vigilant about their personal safety and to immediately report any suspicious activity.

If you have any information about Sean Anderson or incidents of prowling, you are encouraged to contact the police at 805-781-7312 or Crime Stoppers at 805-549-STOP.
