We're Open: Órale Taqueria launches "Adopt a Family" program to help feed local families in need

The co-owners of Órale Taqueria in downtown Paso Robles say they've lost up to 60-percent of their profits compared to this time last year.

Despite the loss in profits, they're still finding ways to support the community.

The restaurant has launched its "Adopt a Family" program, where community members can nominate a family in need who could use a fresh meal for free.

Órale Taqueria will continue this program throughout April.

Restaurant owners say they hope to deliver a meal to a family at least once a week.

"It's been really amazing to see the community step up, sending us messages that are really encouraging, buying gift cards online, still ordering those to-go items for curbside pickup and just really rallying behind us, it's been really awesome to see and motivates us," said Co-Owner, Kristin Casillas.
