Linnaea's Café in San Luis Obispo has been open and serving breakfast to the Central Coast community for 36 years.

The café opened in 1984 and will celebrate it's 36th anniversary in May.

The café has been struggling during the pandemic, however they continue to offer breakfast for the community.

Breakfast options include burritos, different soups and more than five different entrée packages.

The owner of Linnaea's, Marianne Orme, said since the start of the pandemic, her and the employees have missed interacting with the community.

"People come here for that. We have music, we have events, we have poetry, we have jazz, we have story telling. You know there's events that happen that are part of the community and to have that loss is difficult," said Orme.

Linnaea's has temporary hours during the pandemic from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. It is located at 1110 Garden St., San Luis Obispo. For more information, call (805) 541-5888 or visit their website.
