North China Restaurant in Santa Maria is back open after closing down for a couple months because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The restaurant's manager says they wanted to help keep the community safe and flatten the curve.
Right now, they're taking orders over the phone and offering curbside pick-up.
"For our safety, for everyone's safety, I mean, I understand, we understand as a team so we're just grateful to be back open," said Ximena Luz, restaurant manager.
North China first opened its doors in 1982.
It's located at 113 North Broadway in Santa Maria.
