The Santa Maria Town Center Mall will reopen at 25% capacity on Thursday.
Under new state guidelines, indoor malls can reopen at reduced capacity as long as food courts and common areas are closed.
As a result, the mall has removed all seating.
Masks are also required and mall security will be keeping an eye out for large groups and reminding people about social distancing requirements.
"I'm really excited and I'm really hopeful that we will remain open long-term and hopefully very quickly graduate to the next tier and continue to expand capacity," said Kristen LaGrange, Santa Maria Town Center Mall Marketing Manager.
Retail businesses and hair salons will be open but the movie theater will remain closed.
Shoppers can check the mall's website for store hours.
