As students and teachers have transitioned to online learning, several local libraries are offering their services digitally.

Paso Robles City Library has been holding "Digital Storytime" every Wednesday on Facebook Live, featuring a new story and drawing activity for children every week.

Library staff have also livestreamed film and book reviews from titles available in their digital library.

One librarian says closing their doors has been a huge adjustment, but they're doing all they can to help engage students.

"We're still available 24 hours a day online, so people can at midnight if they want log on to the library's website and check out a book, audiobook and even a movie," said librarian Angelica Fortin.

The Santa Barbara Public Library and San Luis Obispo County Public Libraries have also been using Facebook, YouTube and Zoom to continue serving their communities.
