The iconic Madonna Inn is still open for business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Managers say they have rooms available for people to stay if they have a sick family member that they need to be separated from.
The coffee shop and bakery are also open. Customers are encouraged to use Cafe Runner to get food delivered. If you do order pickup, staff will also bring food to your car if you call when you're on your way or outside.
This issue does not stop people from living a daily life even though it might just be a little different than normal," said Amanda Rich, Madonna Inn Marketing Manager. "People are still wanting to spend time with their families, enjoy a good meal, and we're here to accommodate them."
Hundreds of large events at the Madonna Inn have been canceled.
Managers say this is the first time in 61 years of operation that the hotel has been empty.
