A longtime Lompoc restaurant is expanding.
La Botte Italian Restaurant is now open across the street, occupying the former Nikka Fish Enterprise location at 825 N H St.
Co-owner Francesca Agate says she has a lot of vision for the new place.
The restaurant is currently offering curbside pickup, takeout and delivery every day from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
La Botte’s new patio will be open starting on Monday.
The owners say they still have a lot of work to do, but the kitchen is ready and they're excited to continue their parents’ legacy.
"Pretty much anything you want, my mom and dad do for our customers, so my sister, Marlene, and I want to live out that legacy. We want to keep it going. I mean, they've worked so hard and everybody in the community enjoys and loves our food and we want to be here,” Agate said.
The business says they plan on bringing in live music, hosting art shows and putting on cooking classes in their new space.
