A family-owned business in northern San Luis Obispo County is changing things up to meet the needs of the community.
The Laundromat by Swish & Swirl has locations in Paso Robles and Atascadero.
The current owners took over the business in 2013 and since the stay-at-home order took effect, they've made some changes, which include wiping down commonly-touched areas, having employees wear gloves and masks and changing their hours.
The regular self-service laundromat is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The wash and fold service is open from 7 a.m. to noon. and laundry pick-up and delivery is also available.
"Fortunately, we're glad that we can continue to operate. We're really thankful for that and we got a lot of feedback from our customers calling, 'Are you open?' and coming in. They are super thankful for that," said Derek Stoltzfus with the business.
