Humdinger Brewing in the Village of Arroyo Grande was supposed to open in time for St. Patrick's Day, but the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions on breweries and restaurants have forced the owners to quickly change their business model.

Humdinger is now offering to-go orders and deliveries of food and beer, which is all brewed in-house.

"We expected a huge turnout. We hired a few bouncers even. We were going to open at 10 a.m. (on St. Patrick's Day), so we had to figure out how to make some money and we've been to-go ever since," said Justin Amy, Humdinger Brewing co-owner.

For now, people can call or text in their orders at (805) 619-0808 or order through third party sites like UberEats, DoorDash and Cafe Runner. Postmates and GrubHub will be added soon.
