Lane and shoulder closures are expected this week along Highway 41 in Atascadero.

The work to install ADA-complaint curb ramps and pathways is taking place at San Gabriel Road starting Monday morning.

The work is expected to last from 7 am. to 4 p.m. through Friday.

Next month, Caltrans say work, which will also include modifications to an existing traffic signal, will resume along Highway 41 from San Gabriel Road to the Highway 101/41 interchange.

The $4.3 million project is expected to be finished in the fall.

Caltrans reminds drivers to move over and slow down in construction zones.
