No plea was entered Wednesday by the woman charged in the shooting death of her husband in San Luis Obispo last week.
Skylar Marie Marshall’s arraignment via Zoom was continued to Aug. 4.
The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office has charged the now 24-year-old with murder, also alleging intentional discharge of a firearm causing death.
Marshall was arrested last week after her husband, Alexander Hagist, 35, was found shot to death at the Peachwood Apartments on the 600 block of Chorro Street Thursday night.
Police initially said the shooting appeared accidental but a follow-up investigation led to Marshall being arrested on suspicion of murder.
She is being held in San Luis Obispo County Jail.
Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting.
