More residents in Vandenberg Village have reported seeing a bear in their neighborhood.
Just two days after a woman and her brother-in-law posted a video on social media of a bear breaking her backyard fence, another person in the same neighborhood reported seeing a bear on his front porch early Monday morning.
The sighting was reported along Galaxy Way.
"We leave the back door open all day long, but at night, we close it," said Vandenberg Village resident Mary Jo Ehmer. "I don't think it's going to come back, so it'll probably go on down someplace. It must have saw that we didn't have anything here."
Officials from the U.S. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife have not returned calls regarding whether or not plans are in the works to relocate the bear.
