Santa Barbara County Fire reports that a fire broke out around 1:37 PM along Highway 166 near Cottonwood Canyon.
According to fire officials, a vehicle caught on fire, and it extended to nearby brush. It has grown into a 10-acre fire.
California High Patrol confirmed that traffic stopped along Hwy 166 as crews respond to the incident.
