Maintenance work has closed a lane of Highway 101 heading into San Luis Obispo, causing a delay Thursday morning for drivers.
As of 9:30 am., traffic was backed up in the northbound lanes south of Avila Beach Drive.
Crews are working on guardrail repairs in the area. No word on when repairs are expected to be completed.
The California Highway Patrol is also in the area.
