(UPDATE: 8:30 a.m.) - CHP will keep the on and off-ramp of Broad St. closed for the next four to six hours as PG&E works to fixed the sheared utility pole.

The California Highway Patrol is responding to a traffic collision near the southbound off-ramp of Broad St. in San Luis Obispo.
According to the CHP traffic incident page, the crash was reported at about 5:30 a.m. after a vehicle is believed to have driven off the southbound Highway 101 lanes and ended up on the Broad Street onramp.
CHP officials also say the crash resulted in a sheared utility pole, prompting PG&E to respond but according to the outage map, no power outages have been reported in the area.
Caltrans is also on scene because a guardrail was damaged in the lanes of the southbound Broad St. on-ramp.
Both the on and off-ramp of Broad St. are closed as crews work to remove the damaged vehicle and clean up debris.
