A Thanksgiving tradition started by Pismo Beach Police 36 years ago continued Wednesday.
A huge community meal was served at the Vets Hall.
Everyone is welcome at this annual event.
More than 3,000 meals were served. That included 2,400 pounds of turkey plus gravy, potatoes, dressing, and broccoli.
About 175 volunteers spend three days, from prep to clean-up, making it happen.
