Strawberries were once again Santa Barbara County's top crop in 2019 bringing in more than $571,167,071 according to the county's latest crop report released Monday.
The agriculture report shows the total gross production value of $1,600,146,484 was up 5.1 percent from 2018.
With strawberries accounting for 36 percent of total agriculture production in the county, they were followed by wine grapes, which brought in $106,078,716 or 7 percent and nursery products with $97,624,558 or 6 percent.
