The latest storm has prompted another rain advisory to be issued for all San Luis Obispo County beaches.
During a rain advisory, people, including surfers, are advised to avoid contact with ocean water during and 72 hours after heavy rain as the water could be contaminated from runoff and cause skin, respiratory or intestinal problems for people.
Environmental health specialists monitor county beaches and will release information on whether advisories will remain in place for any areas after the 72-hour period.
