The City of Santa Maria is reminding its community to stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eleven large signs have been placed on busy streets throughout the community, reminding everyone to stay home as much as possible or to maintain social distancing while out.

The city placed eight more signs on Tuesday, four in Spanish and four in English.

These signs can be seen on Betteravia and Bradley roads, Cook and Blosser roads, Thornburg and Battles roads, and Broadway (Highway 135) and Taylor Road.

Last week, the City also positioned three large digital message boards along Broadway.
