SpaceX is expected to launch a payload for the National Reconnaissance Office early Tuesday morning, according to Vandenberg Space Force Base officials.
Liftoff of the Falcon 9 rocket is currently scheduled for 5:20 a.m. on December 17.
Following stage separation, SpaceX will aim to land the rocket's first stage booster on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean.
