Two people were displaced by a fire at a Solvang apartment on Monday.
It happened at about 3:20 p.m. at an apartment building in the 500 block of Second Place.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the two residents were alerted to the fire by smoke detectors.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to just one apartment unit.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
