SLO warming center open Friday, Saturday
The San Luis Obispo City Warming Center will be open Friday and Saturday night due to the expected cold conditions and wet weather.
Client check-ins being at 4:30 p.m. at 40 Prado Road. The warming center will close at 8 a.m., but clients can access regular Day Center services beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The warming center is in need of donations of the following:
- Sleeping bags and blankets
- Large trash bags
- Disposable plates, bowls, cups, and utensils
- Coffee, tea, creamer, sugar
- Breakfast bars
- Instant Noodle/ Cup of Noodles
- Large backpacks
- New socks and warm gloves
- Rain gear/ponchos, umbrellas.
- Donations can be dropped off at 40 Prado Road. Call (805) 544-4004 with questions regarding donations.
