SLO Safe Ride is offering transportation assistance to support locals affected by the coronavirus.

Management with the company says they have lowered their fares by 75% for everyone in the county.

Drivers have been equipped with specific equipment to ensure safety precautions.

"We are letting the community know that's what ride on is all about, to help out," says Executive Director for Ride on Transportation, Mark Shaffer. "People can contact us about any kind of movement of people or goods that the community has."

SLO Safe Ride is open 24/7 and will be actively evaluating requests for service.
