San Luis Obispo City Firefighters responded to a garage fire Friday afternoon.
It happened on the 1200 block of Iris Street at around 2 p.m.
Fire officials suspect the fire started by a space heater that was too close to some sort of flammable material.
All of the occupants in the home got out okay.
Fire officials say that since the residents closed the door between the house and the garage on their way out, this helped to keep the fire contained to the garage.
