The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is adding even more flights.
Airport officials announced Wednesday afternoon the addition of daily, non-stop flights to San Diego and Portland starting in 2020.
The flights will be offered by Alaska Airlines.
Flights to San Diego will begin on January 7. Flights to Portland will begin on June 18.
The airport calls the latest news its "biggest announcement yet."
The addition of the flights comes after the airport announced in June that Contour Airlines would begin weekly round-trip service to Las Vegas. Those flights are expected to begin Oct. 17.
With this new destination, travelers can now fly direct from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, Portland, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle.
In May, the airport released its latest report on its economic impact on the region. The report said the airport contributes roughly $85 million annually to the San Luis Obispo County economy and 871 full-time jobs to the region.
The airport celebrated its busiest quarter ever in the first quarter of 2019. That record will likely fall again as more flights and additional airlines choose to fly out of San Luis Obispo.
