(Update - 11:45 p.m.) - Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office officials say the man who fell from a cliff in Isla Vista Saturday died.
It happened at 2:35 p.m. on the 6600 block of Del Playa.
Sheriff's officials say the man accidentally fell from the bluff. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries but did not survive.
The man's identification is being withheld until next of kin is notified.

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a cliff incident Saturday afternoon.
Fire officials said a man reportedly climbed over the barrier fence behind 6625 Del Playa and fell approximately 50 feet.
Firefighters carried the man from the beach up the Pescadero Stairs and transported him to a nearby hospital.
Fire officials did not specify his injuries.
