Students at Santa Ynez Valley High School are back on campus following more than two weeks of distance learning.

Distance learning began Jan. 14 after a student tested positive for COVID-19.

Due to the number of staff potentially exposed, the superintendent said they did not have enough staff to cover the classrooms impacted.

Athletic conditioning sessions were also canceled for the time being.

Students returned to in-person instruction on Tuesday.
