Santa Maria's Paul Nelson Aquatic Center is preparing to reopen.
It's the first time the pool will be open since renovation work began in January.
While recreational swimming won't be happening, lap swim will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $5.
Reservations must be made in advance online.
Swimming lessons will begin next week.
City officials say they have sanitation measures in place to help ensure the health and safety of swimmers.
Entrance can be gained to the pool at the back entrance by the basketball court.
