The Paul Nelson Aquatic Center in Santa Maria is closed due to staff issues related to COVID-19, according to city officials.
The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department closed the pool on Wednesday, Jan. 19.
City officials say it must remain closed for 14 days per Cal/OSHA guidelines.
The pool is expected to re-open on Wednesday, Feb. 2 for adult lap swim and other activities.
