Santa Maria police have identified the man who was killed in a shooting last week as Kevin Nunez-Escamilla, 20, of Santa Maria.
The shooting was reported at approximately 4:22 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, in the 800 block of W. Donovan Rd.
Nunez-Escamilla was found dead at the scene.

The person or persons responsible for the shooting fled the area before officers arrived.
